About this Race

Join the Jaguars and Fresh from Florida 5K Sports Complex Challenge to support the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation and local youth sports programs. This event is taking the place of the annual stadium challenge but due to construction at EverBank Stadium.  The run will include a unique course through the heart of Jacksonville. Run into the regular season with the Jaguars with special pricing for select Jaguars home games. Participants will run through the sports complex, and finish by crossing the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp field with the videoboards showing a live feed of runners across the field! Participants are eligible to purchase up to 6 tickets per game at a special rate of $25 per ticket to the home games listed below. The tickets you purchase will be seated together in a 400-level section. Specific seat locations will be assigned at a later date. An email will be sent to you once the tickets are loaded into your account.

Virtual Option

If you are unable to attend the race, but would still like to participate, sign up for the Virtual Option.

  1. Sign up for Virtual Option during registration.
  2. Run either the 5K or one mile distance.
  3. Send us the distance you completed along with your time.
  4. Your time and distance must be submitted by race date.
  5. We will send you an official race shirt and medal soon after race date.

RACE INSTRUCTIONS

RACE INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU.

You will receive race instructions the week of the event. These will include your assigned race bib number and your selected pickup location where you will need to pick up your race packet.  The email will also contain updated information for the event including parking instructions. Be sure that our 1st Place Sports emails are not going to your junk folder to ensure that you receive this important email.

Individual and Corporate Team Member Registration

Online:

Online registration closes August 22nd. After online registration closes, you can still  on Race day.

In person:

You can register at any of our 1st Place Sports stores on our instore computers with no processing fee.

Corporate Teams

Corporate Team Captains:

Follow the link below to create your Corporate Team for participation in the Corporate Team Competition.

  1. Team captain must sign up first.
  2. During registration team captain creates team.
  3. Team captain lets team member know the name of the team.
  4. Individual members sign up and join the team during registration.

Please make sure you know what team name you will be using, as you cannot change it after you’ve created the team.

The top three team members count in scoring. Awards will be given for top three overall Corporate Teams and for the top three teams with the most participation.

Packet Pickup

Packets will be available for pick up at your selected 1st Place Sports location on Thursday, August 21st from 10 AM – 6 PM and Friday, August 22nd from 10 AM – 4 PM. All packets will be moved to VyStar Ballpark for day of race pick up starting at 6:30 AM.

Awards

Overall, age group and team awards will be given out at the awards ceremony inside VyStar Ballpark starting at 9:15 AM.

All finishers will receive a custom designed medal!
