About this Race
The Kilwins Ice Cream Run is moving to Kilwins new location in St Johns.
Join us for a real summertime treat! This Race is known for all you can eat Kilwins Original Recipe Ice Cream after the race. The Kilwins Ice Cream Run is a 5K and one mile run/walk through the beautiful Beachwalk community in St Johns County on SR 210 just east of Interstate 95.
Dana and Vance Stallings started The Kilwins Ice Cream Run in 2013 to give back to the community, and more importantly to Clarke School for Hearing and Speech. Haley, their oldest daughter, was diagnosed with moderate-to-severe hearing loss at the age of three and was fitted with bilateral hearing aids. Haley attended Clarke School in Jacksonville where she was taught to listen and speak in a hearing world.
This year the race is moving to the Stallings’ new Kilwins location in St Johns, Florida, and will benefit the Dream Big! Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting families facing financial challenges due to cancer. In January 2025, their niece, Miah Simmons, was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer. Miah was scheduled to start radiation therapy on March 12, but suffered a severe brain bleed the week before and passed away at the age of 23. We will be running for Miah, and we hope that you will come join us to help families battling cancer. Proceeds will benefit Dream Big! Foundation and other local charities.
Beachwalk in St. Johns, Florida is a unique community known for its Crystal Lagoon, a 14-acre man-made body of water with white sandy beaches and various amenities. Packet Pickup
Packets will be available for pickup at the following locations and times. Please select your pickup location during registration.
Packets will be available for pickup on Thursday, July 24th from 10 AM until 6 PM and Friday, July 25th from 10 AM until 4 PM at the following 1st Place Sports locations.

Packet will also be available for pickup at Kilwins St Johns, 335 Beachwalk Drive, St Johns, FL 32259 on Thursday, July 24th and Friday July 25th from 10 AM until 9 PM.
Race Day Pickup will be in front of Kilwins St Johns – Beachwalk starting at 6 AM.
Course
The 5K course will start and finish in front of Kilwins. The route is a large loop around the Beachwalk community using the 12 foot wide pedestrian trail.
The 1 mile will start and finish at the 5K inflatable and will be an out and back course.
Charities
Teams and Fundraising
Create or join a team and help raise funds for local charities. You need three team members to create a team. There is not a limit to the number of members on a team.
Team Categories
Family – all team members must be from the same family
Friends – anyone can be on your team
Corporate or Company – All team members must be from the same corporation, company or organization.
Once a team is set up, team members can work together to raise funds for our official charities.
