- 27 patients in the the UF Health Jacksonville Leon L. Haley Jr., M.D., Brain Wellness Program through one calendar year for housing and transportation
- 44 patients in the UF Health Jacksonville Leon L. Haley Jr., M.D., Brain Wellness Program for the Equine Program. The equine program, facilitated by Jacksonville Equestrian Center: H.O.R.S.E Therapies, offers half-day programming on Saturdays during the IOP sessions. Participants engage in interactions with horses, which have been shown to provide a range of benefits, including improved balance, coordination, and strength, as well as enhanced self-confidence, communication skills, and emotional regulation.
- Help to provide education around TBI’s and brain injuries through the UF Health Jacksonville Trauma Prevention Education Program
- The purchase of two Video Laryngoscopes. Often trauma patients, particularly TBI patients require intubation (breathing tubes) to support them.
