About this Race
The Bank of America New Year’s Eve Run will benefit Gator Bowl Charities. All participants receive an official race shirt and all finishers receive a custom designed medal. Awards are given to the top overall and age group winners. This event is an official event of the Jacksonville Grand Prix.

Online registration closes the day prior to the beginning of packet pickup. After online registration closes, you can still register in any 1st Place Sports store or on Race day.
In-Person:
You can register at any of our 1st Place Sports stores on our in-store computers and save the credit card and server fees!
Run for a Child
Help support Gator Bowl Charities by running for a child. During registration you can select the Run for a Child option and donate $10. You will receive a Run for the Child wristband at packet pickup. Wear the band on your wrist during the event to signify that you are supporting this wonderful cause.
Start & Finish
The races will start and finish on A Philip Randolph Blvd. in front of the arena. The course will take you downtown and back.
5K – 2:00 PM
Packet Pickup
Packets will be available for pick up at your selected 1st Place Sports location on Saturday, December 28th and Monday, December 30th from 10 AM until 5 PM. All packets that are not picked up at 1st Place Sports will be taken to the race site for race day pickup starting at 12:30 PM. Please try to pick up your packet prior to race day to avoid lines on race day.

Awards
Custom finisher medal to all participants!
Overall and Age-Group Awards will be give to the top three men and women overall, first place master’s male and female and the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29,30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.
Course
The course will start and finish on A. Philip Randolph Blvd. in front of the VyStart Memorial Arena and run a course to downtown and back.
Post Race Celebration & Awards
Food and drink will be available after the race at the finish area. The awards ceremony will be help at 9:15 AM at the post-race area.
Jacksonville Grand Prix Race
This event is a race in the 2022-2023Jacksonville Grand Prix schedule. Runners who finish in the top ten of their age group will receive points to be counted in the overall series. Over $5,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded at the end of the series. For more information about the Grand Prix, click here.
