Celebrating 27 years, the scenic Vilano Bridge 5K & 10K Run, starts at the Vilano Beach Community Center and Park and winds through the Vilano Beach community, crossing the scenic Vilano Bridge with its sweeping views of the Intracoastal and area beaches. Our 10K run will continue to wind through the grounds of the Florida School of the Deaf & the Blind. Both races finish at the North Shores Community Park for the post-race celebration with food, beer, and music! A family 1-Mile Fun Run will immediately follow the 5K. Come to run and enjoy a beautiful morning in Vilano!

Your registration will go to supporting important projects in the Vilano and North Shores communities and the the Florida School for the Deaf & the Blind.

All communications including event promotions, bib number assignment, results, and runner instructions will be sent by email from 1st Place Sports. If you sign up for an event and do not receive an email from 1st Place Sports and want to receive them, please make sure that 1st Place Sports emails are added to your contacts and are not going to your junk or spam mailbox.

Your entry fee supports the non-profit North Shores Improvement Association (NSIA) working to maintain and improve the quality of life in the Vilano and North Shores communities. In addition, a portion of the proceeds is also contributed to the Florida School of the Deaf & the Blind.

Online registration closes the day prior to the beginning of instore packet pickup. After online registration closes, you can still register in any 1st Place Sports store or on Race day.

In person:

You can register at any of our 1st Place Sports stores on our instore computers!

Packet Pickup

Vilano Beach  – Packets will be available for pick up on Thursday, March 28th and Friday, March 29th  from 3-7 PM at North Shores Improvement Association Community Center.

1st Place Sports – Packets will be available at your selected 1st Place Sports location on Friday, March 29th from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Race Day – All unclaimed packets will be available at the  race site between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM on race day.

Party in the Park

    • Come to run, stay to play after the race at the “Party in the Park!” Enjoy music, a free beer to runners, tasty fare from local vendors, beverages and activities for the entire family! Additional beer and food will be available for purchase.

Race Timing

The race will be timed using the Race Results Bib Timing Chip System. You must cross the timing mats to be included in the results. At the 2-hour mark, all roads will be reopened but walkers may finish the course using sidewalks.

Awards

Awards will be given to the top three men and women overall and the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29,30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.

Finisher medals will be awarded to all participants!

The starting line for all races is located at 120 Meadow Ave., Vilano Beach, FL 32084

At the 2-hour mark, all roads will be reopened but walkers may finish the course using sidewalks.
