All runners' packets containing your race number, Short-sleeve technical running shirt, Championchip rental chip, and other items may be picked up at one of the three following 1st Place Sports' locations on Friday, December 18th and Saturday, December 19th from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM. : You must indicate your pickup location on your entry form. • 3931 Baymeadows Road (near the corner of San Jose Blvd.) • 2016 San Marco Blvd. (San Marco Square, next to The Loop) in Jacksonville New!!! • 2186 Park Avenue in Orange Park • 424 South 3rd Street in Jacksonville Beach All unclaimed packets will be availablepicked up on race day in the old gym on Bolles Campus near the starting line starting at 5:30 AM. All Runners who register prior to December 1st will receive a confimation by mail about two weeks prior to the race. You can also confirm your entry online at this website.

Directions to the Race Site Bolles Campus is located at 7400 San Jose Blvd. From the South, take Highway 13 (San Jose Blvd.) north for five miles off Interstate 295. From the north, exit Interstate 95 at Baymeadows Road. Take Baymeadows three miles west to San Jose Blvd. Bolles School is located two miles to the north on the left. Race Parking Parking for the race is limited at The Bolles School. Bus transportation will be provided from 1st Place Sports at 3913 Baymeadows. If you are staying at the host hotel, please try to use our buses. The buses will leave a every 15 minutes and should get you back and forth to the race site without much delay (see race instructions for more detail).
Bus Transportation Bus transportation will be provided from the Embassy Suites and Holiday Inn on Baymeadows Road from 5:30 AM until 6:00 AM. Bus transportion will also be provide from the 1st Place Sports parking area located at 3931 Baymeadows Road from 5:30 AM until 6:15 AM . There are lots of parking available around 1st Place Sports. Buses will leave Bolles School every thirty minutes to return runners to the 1st Place Sports parking area and to the hotels from 8:30 AM until 2 PM. This race will be timed using the ChampionChip timing system. All runners will be issued a transponder with their race packets The transponder (chip) must be attached to your shoe during the race or you will not receive a place or time. The transponder must be returned after the race or you will be billed the $30.00 replacement cost. Runners will receive a net and gun time in both races. All runners will receive a 10K split time. Runners in the marathon will also get a half-way split time.
Marathon Awards $500, $200 and $100 will be awarded to the top three men and women overall. $100 to the first masters male and female. Awards will be presented to the first three finishers in each of the following age-groups: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 & over. The overall runners and the top ten finishers in each age group will score points to be counted in the Jacksonville Grand Prix. 1/2 Marathon Awards $100 to the top male and female overall. Awards will also be presented to the top three finishers in each age group from 19 and under to 70 and over. Medals will be given to all 1/2 marathon finishers in the finish chutes. Race Results Full results will be posted at 1stplacesports.com the evening of the race. Live results will be posted on runningjacksonville.com as the race progresses. Results will also be posted at the finish of the marathon as the race progresses. Race Accomodations 9300 Baymeadows Road Overflow hotel is the Holiday Inn Baymeadows located one block east of the Embassy Suites at Interestate 95. The race at the Holiday Inn is $79.00. The Pizza Palace Restaurant will host a carbo loading dinner on Saturday evening starting at 5 PM at their new location located directly across Baymeadows from 1st Place Sports.

THE COURSE The Jacksonville Marathon course is USA Track and Field certified. The course starts at Bolles School on San Jose Blvd. and heads South to Mandarin, does a loop and heads back near the St. John's River to Bolles. You can qualify for the the next two Boston Marathons at this event. The course is flat (no hills & no overpasses) and 80% shaded. View Marathon Course
