We would like to welcome you to the 13th annual Florida Telco Festival of Lights 5K and Holiday Magic brought to you by the San Marco Merchants Association, Southside Baptist Church, and Children's Miracle Network. The Festival of Lights festivities will once again provide enjoyment for all ages with a Kids Fun Run, Food Lion Kids Zone, food and music, as well as the 5K run where everyone from the novice runner to dedicated walkers enjoy the carolers as they wind their way through the historic San Marco community. Holiday Magic activities will begin at 6 PM and will feature hayrides, children’s activities, a bounce house, shopping, dining, handbells, children’s and adult choirs, as well as a personal visit from Santa from 7:45 to 9:00 p.m!

There is a $2.00 discount if you own your own chip, but chip number must be entered on entry form.
Fun Run is $12.00 at all times
For runners over 65 and children under 13 years of age registration is $15 until December 4th.

Packet Pickup
Be sure and check the box on the entry form where you plan to pick up your packet. Packets will be available at the following 1st Place Sports locations on Thursday, December 3rd from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM and Friday, December 4th from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM.

Packets will also be available at the starting line beginning at 4:30 PM on raceday.
Race Timing
The race will be timed using the ChampionChip (chip must be worn on your shoe during the race). Your entry fee covers the cost of the chip rental. If you have your own chip, you need to enter your chip number on the entry form, and deduct $2.00 from the entry fee. You must cross the timing mats to be included in the results. Do not wear your personal chip if you sign up on raceday!
Awards
Awards will be presented to the top three men and women overall, the first masters male and female, and three deep in the following male and female age groups: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over. The awards ceremony will be held in front of 1st Place Sports at 7:15 PM. Awards not picked up at the ceremony can be picked up at 1st Place Sports the week after the race.
Course
The 5K and one mile will start in San Marco Square and will feature a loop course through the historic district running along San Marco Blvd, around Lake Marco, and along River Road. The entire course will be lined with luminaries.

Luminary Lit Route
The race will be held at night, but the entire 5K course will be lined with luminaries. There will be a water station at the half way point. All miles and turns will be marked. Digital clocks will be located at each mile.
For the Kids
Medals to all children 13 and under in the one mile fun run. There will also be a Kid's area with lots of activities sponsored by Food Lion.
