Celebration 5K

• Time: 5K at 7:30 AM, 1 Mile Fun Run at 8:30 AM
• Location: 1st Place Sports, 3931 Baymeadows Road

The Celebration 5K is an early morning run/walk that features a great course, MyLaps timing, lots of free food, and fun for the whole family! There is also a one mile fun run for the kids to enjoy!

Discounted Entry:

» There is a $2.00 discount if you own your own chip, but chip number must be entered during registration process.

» Children under 13 and Adults 65+ receive $5.00 off for the 5K through July 3rd! If registering online, follow the directions indicated when putting in your age to receive discount!

Packet Pickup

Packets will be available on Tuesday, July 2nd and Wednesday, July 3rd from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM at the following 1st Place Sports locations. Packets will be moved to the starting line beginning at 6:30 AM on Raceday.

Race Timing

The race will be timed using the MyLaps Timing Chip System (chip must be worn on your shoe during the race). Your entry fee covers the cost of the chip rental. If you have your own chip, you need to enter your chip number on the entry form, and deduct $2.00 from the entry fee. You must cross the timing mats to be included in the results. Do not wear your personal chip if you sign up on raceday!

Awards

Custom designed awards will be given to the top three finishers in each of the f ollowing male and female age groups: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20- 24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55- 59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 & 80 and over. $100 will be awarded to the first place male and female finisher.

Course

This USA Track and Field certified course is very flat and very fast. Digital clocks will be located at each mile. All turns and miles will be marked. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office will control traffic on the course. Water stations will be located at the start, 1/2 way, and at the finish.

Post Race Celebration

After the 5K and fun run, join us for a celebration in front of 1st Place Sports. There will be watermelon, free food and drinks, plus drawings for prizes and the awards ceremony.

Grand Prize Drawing

Right after the race a random drawing (based on your race number) will be held at 1st Place Sports. There will be lots of nice prizes so hang on to those race numbers!
